History Bites: Rochambeau’s Historic March, 12 noon at the Mattatuck Museum, 144 West Main St., Waterbury. Comte de Rochambeau march 5,000 French roops through Connecticut to support Washington’s army at the historic battle in Yorktown. Join historic illustrator David Wagner as he explores this journey through his spectacular paintings. The Middlebury Historical Society and the Southbury Historical Society will discuss Rochambeau’s impact on local history and news of the upcoming 225th anniversary re-enactment weekend on June 16-18.
